Reading List
May. 28th, 2009 12:49 pmNow, I didn't get all the books on my reading list, but I did get a couple and supplemented with some others that I knew were good. I had Little Miss with me, so she had to get some books, but all in all, it was a lovely trip out. Apologies for the blur, I am still figuring out closeup shots.

I think I should be able to update some of my recs pages and I'm going to be swapping my gallery to a Wordpress backend and theme developed for displaying galleries and photos. I also put in a new theme for the main site, so go check it out~

May. 3rd, 2009 11:20 amAm thinking about creating a TF outpost over here at DW. There is already a Transformers community, but it's not had any posts or anything done, so I don't know.
I would make it open to ALL continuities and use tags to keep things organized. Interesting? TF fandom is so specialized on LJ with a comm or two for every continuity and even special comms just for art or fic. I like that but it does make it interesting to know which one to post to depending on the content or what have you.
Also pondering if I really want to do the newsletters over here @ DW or just link over at LJ.
And as a note, I will be crossposting between DW and LJ on most posts.

Watched Wolverine last night and I loved the movie. For background, I am more familiar with movieverse Marvel than comicsverse. I have gotten a bit of a background reading Wikipedia and hitting up comic discussion sites, but that's all secondary knowledge and not primary.

Have used the importer to pull in everything from my LJ including the profile info, which is really neat by the way, but having FUN making my profile layout WORK. all the content is squished together and I have been playing with widths and tables and going GAH, since I don't feel like revamping it completely.

Secondly, regarding access/subscribing, I am fairly liberal with allowing access, though I do reserve the right to take my time to get to know y'all before allowing access, since I do talk about my daughter and family.
